We had a great experience working with Roberto. He completed both a bathroom renovation and conversion of our garage to living space. Everything was done carefully and professionally, and we couldnt be happier with the result.

Roberto provided a reasonable estimate and helped us stick to it, communicated clearly during the project, and followed through on what he said he would do. He made sure to involve us in every decision along the way, and was patient in talking through various options. Most importantly, he operated with integrity, which made the whole process much less stressful. We would absolutely recommend Roberto to anyone looking for a reliable, skilled contractor and would not hesitate to work with him again.

We hired Roberto to finish our basement in our home in Jamaica Plain. The project was quite involved and included plumbing, a new ducted HVAC system, electrical work, framing and finishing, and masonry to open a door in our foundation to the backyard. Since the start of the project, Roberto was communicative, responsive to our questions, and overall a pleasure to work with. He took care of all of the subcontractors and vouched for us as his clients when managing their work. He moved with a sense of urgency and was very mindful of our timeline requirements and budget. We are incredibly pleased with the end result - he created a space for us that has transformed our house and the way we live in it. We certainly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a contractor and hope to work him again in the future!

Roberto just finished siding our home as well as repairing wood trim around windows and doors. From start to finish he was so easy to work with. Roberto tore down and rebuilt our two-story front porches. We were very particular about what we wanted, and it wasn't always easy to decide. (We used special architectural columns, aluminum railings, and other things.) Roberto rose to the challenge and did a great job, despite many delays caused by weather, the permitting process, and illness--all beyond his control. He and his crew pushed through and completed the job, and it looks great! We would definitely work with him again.

I hired Roberto to get my house ready for sale. He painted the entire interior, replaced carpeting, remodeled the bathroom completed several other smaller projects. My realtor had very specific instructions and Roberto cheerfully paid attention to all of the details.
I ended up moving back in instead of selling and I was very happy with the quality of work, reasonable cost, and ongoing communication.

We hired Roberto to install additional support columns on several beams in our basement after recommendation from a structural engineer. We are extremely happy with the work that he did. I consider myself extremely fortunate to have found Roberto of Paraiso General Construction. Roberto with his assistant rebuilt my back porch and did an excellent job. Roberto consulted with me on what I wanted, explained the process clearly and gave great advice. Roberto is professional and detail-oriented. He is also respectful of both the client and their property (impeccable cleanup). The quality of workmanship was top-notch and I was so happy with the results.
